LA River: N Broadway bridge 1810a

North Broadway bridge over the Los Angeles River. The bridge, completed in 1911, was originally named the Buena Vista viaduct.

Much of the upper level concrete work looks fairly new, and the columns in this picture appear to have newer metal casings. Per a sign on the bridge, it was retrofitted for seismic safety in 2000.
