One of the 5 locks on the Caledonian Canal at Fort Augustus. The water was unusually still on that day.

This loch is in the hills above Loch Ness on the south side. For those of you who have seen the film Local Hero (and if you haven't, you really should!), this is where they park up for the night in the fog.
