Showbus, Donington - Sun 25 Sep 2016 The Todmorden Joint Omnibus Committee was a bus undertaking owned jointly by Todmorden Corporation initially in partnership with the London Midland and Scottish Railway Company (1931-1947). After the nationalisation of railways the partner became British Railways (from 1947). This Leyland bodied Leyland PD2 /1 was new in January 1950 and was one of the vehicles owned by Todmorden Corporation. Prior to 1947 the total bus fleet saw shared ownership but from 1947 each partner owned their own individual buses to an equal number.

Showbus, Donington - Sun 25 Sep 2016 HHP 755, a Maudslay badged AEC Regal III with Duple bodywork which was new in 1948 for display at the Commercial Motor Show that year. It was then sold to Greenslades Tours, the well known Devon based operator in whose livery it is preserved. Coventry based Maudslay Motors was taken over by AEC in 1948 and the name was retained until being phased out in 1950. The Maudslay factory assembled AEC designed products and the use of 'badge engineering' enabled the ACV Group to obtain more space to exhibit a wider range of products at the Show. AEC had also acquired Crossley Motors in 1948 and the three companies operated as Associated Commercial Vehicles (ACV).

It became number 421 in the fleet of Yorkshire Coastliner Limited when YCL was formed as a separate company in January 1990.
