Friday 22 May 2015 (1239) - Ipswich Buses Optare Versa buses at the London Road Park & Ride site. Nearest the camera is 151 (YK08 EPU) and beyond is 152 (YK08 EPV). Both were new to Nottingham City Transport in June 2008 (fleet numbers 317 and 318).

Friday 22 May 2015 (1242) - Ipswich Buses Optare Versa 152 (YK08 EPV) leaving the London Road Park & Ride site. The windows of the building are those of the passenger waiting area. The buses stand and load alongside the front of the building. Upon departure they circle the building as they descend the private exit road taking them beneath the road upon which they arrived earlier (from where the photo was taken).

Having left the front of the departure building the buses circle the building as they descend the private exit road taking them beneath the road upon which they arrived earlier (from where the photo was taken). They then climb towards the A12 joining the road into the town centre clear of the various roundabouts etc encountered on their inward journey.

An ADL (Alexander Dennis) Enviro200 new in November 2013. The iconic black glass building, which features a roof garden, of the Willis Insurance Group forms a backcloth.

The side panel says it would take me to the Waterfront so I got on. However, studying the timetable before the bus departed I discovered that it wasn’t going there at all – so I quickly got off!

Across the street is 41 (M41 EPV) and up ahead 57 (PN52 XBJ) – all three have East Lancs bodywork. (The clock at The Cricketers hasn’t been advanced by one hour for BST!)
