Saturday 19 July 2025 (1013) – Ausden Clark, Leicester BIG 8835, a Van Hool TDX27 Astromega that had been new to Stagecoach Bluebird Buses (50247) in September 2012 registered SV62 BBK, seen heading eastbound on the A11 at Fiveways, Barton Mills. Devoid of Ausden Clark’s silver and pink livery, perhaps a recent acquisition. It doesn’t look in bad condition considering the mileage it will have accrued pounding the highways on Megabus work then on the Oxford-London Oxford Tube services.

Saturday 19 July 2025 (0943) – Richard Taylor Travel of St. Ippolyts, Hitchin T23 RTT seen heading eastbound on the A11 at Fiveways, Barton Mills. It is a Higer bodied Scania K360 new in June 2019. First registered by Scania UK as YT19 EAA - so perhaps originally a demonstrator?

It is a VDL Futura II that was new to Deros Coaches, Killarney, Ireland in 2013. It received registration WD13 WTP when imported to England and was operated by Europe Vacations, London. It was later operated by Kineil Coaches of Fraserburgh, Scotland where the registration number 953 HBU was applied. Four operators in four different countries!

The advertised pick-up points for the excursion were Stevenage (0740), Hitchin (0755), Letchworth (0810), Biggleswade (0835), Potton (0850) and Sandy (0905) The coach is a Neoplan N2216 that had been new to Sauter Drexler Limited, Lincoln in January 2009.
