Tuesday 19 June 2018 (1209) – Whippet Coaches NX18 (BL17 XAW) seen at Mildenhall when working the 1045 Norwich to London National Express service 490. Due from here at 1205 arriving Victoria at 1420. It is a Caetano Levante bodied Scania K410 new in June 2017. In the background is Coach Services of Thetford Optare Solo MX05 OUD working the 1215 service 201 to Brandon.

Tuesday 19 June 2018 (1212) – Whippet Coaches NX21 (BL17 XAZ) seen at Mildenhall when working the 1045 Norwich UEA to Gatwick Airport National Express service 727. Due from here at 1220 arriving Gatwick at 1715 via Stansted (1355) and Heathrow (1535). It is a Caetano Levante bodied Scania K410 new in June 2017.

Tuesday 19 June 2018 (1211) – Whippet Coaches NX21 (BL17 XAZ) seen arriving in Mildenhall when working the 1045 Norwich UEA to Gatwick Airport National Express service 727. Due from here at 1220 arriving Gatwick at 1715 via Stansted (1355) and Heathrow (1535). It is a Caetano Levante bodied Scania K410 new in June 2017.

Saturday 25 August 2018 (1027) – Whippet Coaches NX24 (BV67 JZH), a Caetano Levante bodied Scania K440 new in January 2018, seen on the approach to Fiveways, Barton Mills in the inevitable traffic queue when working the 0630 National Express service 727 from Heathrow Airport to Norwich. Service 727 had its origins as a ‘Jetlink’ branded service which later saw operation under the ‘National Express Airport’ brand. It was worked by National Express Operations Limited for a number of years (covered from garages near Heathrow and Stansted Airports as well as from an outstation at Norwich). In January 2018 Whippet took over as the contractor for this service.

Friday 10 August 2018 (1023) – Whippet Coaches NX24 (BV67 JZH), a Caetano Levante bodied Scania K440 new in January 2018, seen arriving in Mildenhall when working the 0855 National Express service 727 from Norwich (UEA) to Gatwick. Service 727 had its origins as a ‘Jetlink’ branded service which later saw operation under the ‘National Express Airport’ brand. It was worked by National Express Operations Limited for a number of years (covered from garages near Heathrow and Stansted Airports as well as from an outstation at Norwich). In January 2018 Whippet took over as the contractor for this service (and for some of the London services from Norfolk and Suffolk) working from an outstation near Diss/Eye in Suffolk.

Monday 25 June 2018 (1034) – Whippet Coaches Caetano Levante bodied Scania K410s seen in Mildenhall bus station working National Express service 727. One was heading eastbound on the 0630 from Heathrow to Norwich (due here 1015), the other was heading westbound on the 0855 from Norwich UEA to Gatwick Airport (due here 1035). Nearest the camera is NX28 (BV67 JZN) with NX25 (BV67 JZJ) further away. They were new in January 2018.

Nearest the camera is NX28 (BV67 JZN) with NX25 (BV67 JZJ) further away. They were new in January 2018. One was heading eastbound on the 0630 from Heathrow to Norwich (due here 1015), the other was heading westbound on the 0855 from Norwich UEA to Gatwick Airport (due here 1035).

It was due at Mildenhall at 1015 so was very much on schedule.

Wednesday 31 October 2018 (1023) – Whippet Coaches NX24 (BV67 JVH), a Caetano Levante bodied Scania K410 new in January 2018, seen heading towards Fiveways, Barton Mills from Mildenhall. It was working the 0630 National Express service 727 from Heathrow to Norwich which was due at Mildenhall at 1015. Note the new sign in place advising ‘New Traffic Signals Ahead’. Whilst work was underway doing the installation the actual signals were not yet in place.

Wednesday 31 October 2018 (1023) – Wearing a Poppy of Remembrance, Whippet Coaches NX24 (BV67 JVH), a Caetano Levante bodied Scania K410 new in January 2018, seen heading towards Fiveways, Barton Mills from Mildenhall. It was working the 0630 National Express service 727 from Heathrow to Norwich which was timed at Mildenhall at 1015.
