Saturday 28 May 2022 (0930) - Ambassador Travel 214 (BV19 XRA), a Caetano Levante bodied Scania K360 new in June 2019, seen on the A11 at Barton Mills when working the 0730 National Express service 491 from London (Victoria) to Great Yarmouth. The previous timed point was Stratford (East London) at 0815 and the next timed point is Thetford at 1000. Just 15 minutes or so from here to Thetford so making good progress.

For about ten minutes or so a paper sack had been wafting across the carriageway gradually moving as vehicles created a bit of turbulence. Fortunately this was the only photograph in which it appeared.

Saturday 28 May 2022 (0942) – An Unvi Compa bodied Iveco Daily operated by Myhills Minibuses Limited of Waterbeach seen at Fiveways, Barton Mills. HY69 UHV is one such vehicle operated by Myhills although I can’t say if this was that particular vehicle.

Saturday 28 May 2022 (0923) – Theobold’s Coaches of Luton Y6 TBC seen at Fiveways, Barton Mills heading for Great Yarmouth. It is a Temsa Safari HD that had been new to County Coaches of Luton Airport in April 2017 registered YJ17 DBX. For some years Theobold’s has operated this combined holiday express service/day excursion from Dunstable and Luton on Saturdays and for 2022 the dates of operation are 28 May, 4 June, 23 and 30 July, 6, 13, 20 and 27 August. As well as carrying holiday passengers who stay at the coast for a week or more the coach is also advertised as a day excursion. It would give day visitors an arrival at about 1130 returning about 1630. A few minutes later another Theobold’s coach (MT60 WKA) passed through which could have been a duplicate although may have been on an unrelated assignment.
