It is a Wright Streetlite DF new in December 2014. The Market Cross building is a timber framed structure erected in 1617-1618 replacing a building destroyed by fire a couple or so years earlier. According to the ‘Historic England’ website it cost £25 and 7 shillings to build (£25.35).
