Saturday 4 October 2014 (1125) - Avon Cosmetics mobile recruitment vehicle seen in the Arc Shopping Centre, Bury St. Edmunds. KN52 NDL is an Alexander ALX400 bodied Dennis Trident new to Armchair Passenger Transport in January 2003 (fleet number DT10) for operation on London Buses route 237. The vivid pink of the bus against the almost grey surroundings and background makes the photo look a little 'doctored' - but it isn't!

Thursday 26 July 2018 (1243) – LN51 KYV, a Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident, was new to Metroline London North (TPL15) in February 2002. Seen at Fleet Service Area on the M3 Motorway in Hampshire it is now operated by a youth support group.

It later worked for Ensign in partial open top form on the London Pride Sightseeing Tour and later still for Ipswich Buses at Felixstowe and Woodbridge. It was seen at Red Lodge, Suffolk.

Saturday 6 April 2019 (1342) – RJI 8917 is a Duple Caribbean bodied Volvo B10M that was new in May 1985 to Worth’s Coaches of Enstone, Oxfordshire registered B663 AFC. Now a Stock Car transporter for the car driven by 17 year old Karl Gray from Kettering. Seen at Mildenhall Speedway Ground, West Row Fen.

Saturday 6 April 2019 (1347) – What looks like a Van Hool Astrobel bodied Volvo B12T seen at Mildenhall Speedway Ground, West Row Fen. A smartly turned out machine neatly converted. I should have got the registration and traced its origins.

Saturday 6 April 2019 (1342) – 900 YXN is a Van Hool Astral bodied Volvo B10M new to Ellerby’s Coaches of Tow Law in May 1984 registered A904 JEF. Now a Stock Car transporter for Paul Prest from North Yorkshire it was seen arriving at the Mildenhall Speedway Ground, West Row Fen, Suffolk. The early 1980s saw a fad to include a lower deck lounge at the rear of certain models. Plaxton had their Paramount 4000RS, Jonckheere their Jubilee P90 and Van Hool their Astral. This Astral was new with 48 seats on the main (upper) deck and 7 seats in the lounge (lower) deck area. A batch of similar style coaches for Park’s of Hamilton delivered a few months earlier had seating for 49 plus 11. In its current role as a transporter the stock car can just be seen through what had been the lounge area windows. The lower half of the rear panel is hinged and lifts up to load and unload the car.

It was new in August 1995 to Stagecoach owned Western Buses in Scotland (925). The base green and white livery stems from the time it operated with Harrogate Coach Travel/Connexions Buses. La Latina bills itself as offering South American and Latin Street Food served in side a double decker bus.
