Sunday 13 June 1999 – Neal’s Travel T631 JWB seen outside St. Mary’s Church in Barton Mills having brought a party of Dutch visitors to the Scarecrow Festival. It is a Plaxton Cheetah bodied Mercedes-Benz O 814D new in April 1999. The village became well known for the Scarecrow Festivals which attracted many visitors.

Friday 1 Sep 2017 (1156) – Neal’s Travel Mercedes-Benz mini coach BIG 8754 seen on Angel Hill, Bury St. Edmunds. New in 2005 as MX05 NYN (to whom?). (It may have also carried registration number DAZ 5045 along the way).

Easter Monday 22 April 2019 (1827) – Neal’s Travel OIG 6914, a Euro Coach bodied Mercedes-Benz new circa 2007, seen at Fiveways, Barton Mills. It may previously have been registered AE57 EGD.

Tuesday 30 April 2019 (0839) – Neal’s Travel OIG 6915, a Eurocoach LX33 bodied Mercedes-Benz new circa 2006, seen in North Terrace, Mildenhall.

Friday 21 Jun 2019 (1933) – Neal’s Travel OIG 6917, a Eurocoach Clady bodied Mercedes-Benz, seen at the July Course, Newmarket for the evening performance by ‘Madness’.

Saturday 12 October 2019 – For a number of years Neal’s Travel of Isleham, now owned by Mil-Ken Travel, has provided the vehicles for the shuttles to the Newmarket racecourses from the town centre and railway station on race days. Neal’s OIG 6917, a Eurocoach Clady bodied Mercedes-Benz, seen in Fred Archer Way, Newmarket after completing the arrival shuttles. The coach is parked outside the National Association of Racing Staff building, the NARS being the trade union for horse racing staff.

Saturday 12 October 2019 – For a number of years Neal’s Travel of Isleham, now owned by Mil-Ken Travel, has provided the vehicles for the shuttles to the Newmarket racecourses from the town centre and railway station on race days. Friday 8 February 2019 (0854) – Neal’s Travel OIG 6919 seen in the High Street in Mildenhall on a damp and gloomy morning. It is a Volvo B12B Prestige 9700 that was new to BM Coaches of Hayes in July 2009 registered FJ09 XGT.

Friday 8 February 2019 (0855) – The Bell Hotel in the High Street in Mildenhall dates from the 16th century with a frontage dating from the 19th century. During late 2018 the frontage became structurally unsafe and had to be shored up. For months there have been temporary traffic lights controlling the reduced road width much to the annoyance of local folks (myself included). Neal’s Travel OIG 6919 is seen passing through. It is a Volvo B12B Prestige 9700 that was new to BM Coaches of Hayes in July 2009 registered FJ09 XGT.

Left is Neal’s Travel OIG 6920, a Mercedes-Benz Touro, and right is West Row Coach Services YN57 AEV, a Beulas Cygnus bodied Irisbus/Iveco, which was new to Manns Travel of Gravesend in October 2007.
