Friday 9 September 1994 – The bus version of the Van Hool Alizee wasn’t very common at all in Britain. Beeston’s Coaches E303 FMV, on Scania N112DRB chassis, was seen on Angel Hill in Bury St. Edmunds working the 1630 service to Sudbury. It had been new in July 1988 to an operator near Gatwick Airport (Terminus of Crawley), I suspect for some kind of airport work as at the end of the red line on both sides and the rear panel of the bus there is an aircraft featured. The legal address on the vehicle was ‘Beeston’s, Long Melford, Sudbury, Suffolk’ which was the former Theobald’s Coaches base, an old established family business taken over by Beeston’s.

Sat 6 Oct 2007 – Beestons Coaches of Hadleigh YN54 OCJ, an East Lancs bodied Scania N54UD. It was seen in Sudbury bus station having worked a service 91 journey.

Sat 6 Oct 2007 – Beestons Coaches of Hadleigh YS02 XDO, a Wright bodied Scania L94B (New May 2002). It was seen in Sudbury bus station working a short run of service the Sudbury-Haverhill service as far as Glemsford.

Sat 6 Oct 2007 – Beestons Coaches of Hadleigh YN54 OCJ, an East Lancs bodied Scania N54UD. It was seen in Sudbury bus station having worked a service 91 journey.

Saturday 19 September 2015 (1502) – Beeston’s (Hadleigh) Limited YN54 OCJ seen in Boxford when working the 1415 service 91 from Ipswich to Sudbury. It is an East Lancs Omnidekka bodied Scania N94UD new in late 2005 initially used by Scania as a demonstrator coming to Beeston’s around February 2006.

It is an East Lancs Omnidekka bodied Scania N94UD new to Metrobus (433) in August 2003.

Saturday 26 November 2016 – Beestons Coaches of Hadleigh YV03 PZY seen in Crown Street, Bury St. Edmunds when working the ‘Park and Ride’ shuttle for the Christmas Fayre (on hire to Mulleys Motorways). It is an East Lancs Omnidekka bodied Scania N94UD new to Metrobus (433) in August 2003. The Church Gate stands above the bus and the Abbey Gate can be seen in the distant background.

Saturday 5 April 2008 (1543) - Beestons Coaches of Hadleigh YN06 CJE, a Scania OmniCity new in March 2006, seen in Haverhill having worked service 236 from Sudbury. Burtons Coaches YM55 RRY, a Plaxton Beaver bodied Mercedes-Benz Vario new in January 2006, stands behind.
