Friday 2 June 2017 (0757) – First Eastern Counties Buses 36191 (BN12 JYR) seen turning into Riverside Road from Prince of Wales Road close to Norwich railway station. Branding for ‘Red Line’ cross city services 23/24 is carried. It is a Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B9TL when brand new in June 2012 was one of the buses assigned to First Games Transport, the First subsidiary which was contracted to work movements at the London Olympics.

Friday 2 June 2017 (0757) – First Eastern Counties Buses 36170 (BD11 CFP), a Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B9TL new in June 2011 carries branding for Norwich city ‘Blue Line’ services 25/26. It was seen on the forecourt of Norwich railway station.

Friday 2 June 2017 (0822) – Some of the buses operated by First Eastern Counties Buses on the Norwich city network in Norwich carry branded colours on the frontal area plus a message on the rear panel. Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B9TL 36166 (BD11 CFK) is branded for the ‘Blue Line’ services (25/26) and was seen in Prince of Wales Road. It was new in June 2011.

Friday 2 June 2017 (0821) – Some of the buses operated by First Eastern Counties Buses on the Norwich city network in Norwich carry branded colours on the frontal area plus a message on the rear panel. Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B9TL 36192 (BN12 JYS), branded for the ‘Red Line’ services (23/24), was seen in Prince of Wales Road. When brand new in June 2012 this was one of the buses assigned to First Games Transport, the First subsidiary which was contracted to work movements at the London Olympics.

Friday 2 June 2017 (0753) – First Eastern Counties Buses 36168 (BD11 CFN), a Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B9TL new in June 2011 carries branding for Norwich city ‘Blue Line’ services 25/26. It was seen on waiting to turn into Riverside having just left Norwich railway station.

Friday 2 June 2017 (0752) – First Eastern Counties Buses 36170 (BD11 CFP), a Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B9TL new in June 2011 carries branding for Norwich city ‘Blue Line’ services 25/26. It was seen on Riverside, Norwich.

Thursday 1 June 2017 (1539) – Go-Ahead owned Konectbus based in Dereham 624 (SN63 OAC) seen in Castle Meadow in Norwich city centre operating Park and Ride service 504. It is an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400 new in September 2015.

Thursday 1 June 2017 (1543) – First Eastern Counties 33163 (LR02 LXZ) seen in Castle Meadow, Norwich. It is a Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident new to First Centrewest (London) in June 2002. Some of the buses operated on the city network in Norwich carry branded colours on the frontal area - purple in this case for service 36.

Thursday 1 June 2017 (1539) – Some of the buses operated by First Eastern Counties on its city network in Norwich carry branded colours on the frontal area. Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B9TL 36167 (BD11 CFM) with ‘Blue Line’ branding passes Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B7RLE 66976 (KX05 MGZ) with ‘Yellow Line’ branding in Castle Meadow.

Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B9TL 36169 (BN12 JYO) has ‘Red Line’ branding and was seen turning from Riverside Road into Prince of Wales Road close to Norwich railway station. New in June 2012 and when new was initially assigned to First Games Transport to work at the 2012 Olympic Games.

Thursday 1 June 2017 (1531) – Some of the buses operated by First Eastern Counties on its city network in Norwich carry branded colours on the frontal area. 36192 (BN12 JYS), a Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B9TL, has ‘Red Line’ branding. It was seen passing the company’s travel shop in Castle Meadow in a view taken from Norwich Castle. When brand new in June 2012 this was one of the buses assigned to First Games Transport, the First subsidiary which was contracted to work movements at the London Olympics.

Thursday 1 June 2017 (1527) – Reynolds Coaches of Caister ICZ 6697, a Caetano Enigma bodied Volvo B10M new to Ulsterbus in May 2001 although acquired from Kent Top Travel in November 2012. It was seen in Castle Meadow, Norwich getting in position to return its clientele on their ‘Norwich Shopper’ excursion. The excursion from the Great Yarmouth area coastal holiday resorts runs on Tuesday and Thursdays.

Thursday 1 June 2017 (1532) – A view of Castle Meadow from Norwich Castle. A Sanders Scania Omnicity (possibly YN53 GFE) bus and a Reynolds Coaches of Caister coach are in the scene. The Reynolds coach is Caetano Enigma bodied Volvo B10M ICZ 6697.

Thursday 1 June 2017 (1549) – First Eastern Counties 63324 (SK65 PXE), a Wright Streetlite DF new in November 2015, seen in Thorpe Road, Norwich close to Norwich railway station when operating service 15 to Acle. We had just travelled on this bus from the city centre.

Thursday 1 June 2017 (1229) – First Eastern Counties Buses Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B7RLE 66980 (KX05 MHJ) seen in Wensum Street, Norwich. It was new in May 2005 to First Leicester. Some of the buses operated by First Eastern Counties on its city network in Norwich carry branded colours on the frontal area. 66980 has ‘Yellow Line’ branding for service 28 to Thorpe Marriott and 29 to Taverham to the north west of the city.

Monday 8 May 2017 (0840) – Lothian Buses 201 (SN11 EES), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400H new in August 2011, passing the Royal Scots Greys Memorial, erected to commemorate the fallen during the Boer War. Other landmarks in the photograph are, on the left, the clock tower of the Balmoral Hotel and the Scott Monument. The domed building high above on the right was built as the head office of the Bank of Scotland in 1806 and is now the Scottish headquarters of the Lloyds Banking Group.
