Friday 9 January 2026 (1131) – Oops! I wasn’t quick enough here to fully capture Konectbus 608 (SN61 CZY) seen leaving Bury St. Edmunds Bus Station on this rather wet morning.

In late September 2025 the Go-Ahead Group sold its Go East Anglia operations to Transport Made Simple (TMS). The purchase included the Konectbus brand (in Norfolk) and the Konectbuses brand (in Essex and Suffolk). The latter had only been created a short time before when Go Ahead had merged its Hedingham and Chambers businesses owned for some years and managed by Konectbus.

Transport Made Simple already owned Simonds of Botesdale Limited, based in Diss, the operator of service 70 from Bury St. Edmunds to Diss

So, shown here is a post-acquisition blend of a former Konectbus vehicle now working on a Simonds service.
