Brown’s Coaches, South Kirkby J8 OVA and J656 MNE in Mildenhall – 2 May 1993 (194-15)

Sunday 2 May 1993 – It was all happening in High Street, Mildenhall on this Sunday afternoon.

Brown’s Coaches of South Kirkby, Pontefract J8 OVA, a Bova Futura FHD 12-290 new in August 1991, had a problem of some sort and had made a stop as had J656 MNE, a Carlyle bodied Mercedes-Benz O 609D new in September 1991, which was on the same private hire job. (The registration on the Futura is a play on the name Bova).

Passing by was Premier Travel 329 (G329 PEW), a Plaxton Expressliner bodied Volvo B10M working National Express service 747 which had just departed King Street at 1602.
