Site of the former Yelloway garage and coach station in Rochdale – 22 Mar 1992 (157-20)

Sunday 22 March 1992 – A view of the site where the Yelloway garage and coach station stood. Weir Street, which gave Yelloway its address, runs alongside the river wall, Ink Street (originally a section of Penn Street) runs along the front of the parked cars and Slack Street runs right to left.
The site was redeveloped to house new council buildings named ‘Number One Riverside’.
