Friday 8 July 2022 (1102) – Ipswich Buses 44 (YR61 RRZ) seen in Dogs Head Street, Ipswich working service 15A, a clockwise circular service serving Pinewood and Maidenhall in the southern suburbs. It is a Scania N230UD Omnicity that had been new to Centrewest (London) as their SN36041 in October 2011.

For a number of years Ipswich Buses named all of its vehicles but now only a few carry names. This bus is named ‘Sir Alf Ramsey’ who had been the iconic manager of England’s national football team and of Ipswich Town Football Club.
