Fenland Busfest at Whittlesey - 15 May 2022 (P1110716)

Sunday 15 May 2022 (1103) – The Fenland Busfest at Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire. The rally is held in the town centre occupying Broad Street and Market Street with the rally control/bus ride departures centred on the Market Place.

Left: Preserved DXI 3341, an Alexander N type bodied Leyland Tiger new to Ulsterbus in January 1984. Livery layout of Citybus related to Ulsterbus with ‘Lilford Traveller’ fleetname. (During the mid-2010s the bus had carried British registration 4993 UG seemly having reverted to its original Northern Ireland registration now).

Right: Fowlers Travel of Holbeach Drove LX05 FCA, a Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TL that was new to London General (WVL162) in June 2005 for Transport for London contracted services. The two door format has been retained by Fowlers.
