Easter Saturday 15 April 1995 – Pioneer Travel Bus and Coach, owned by John Whitehead, was based in Smithy Bridge near Rochdale.

K367 TJF, a Dormobile Routemaker bodied Mercedes-Benz 811D was in November 1992, seen in Rochdale bus station. Pioneer was subsequently acquired by First Group in the late 1990s.
