For a time this vehicle had been preserved by the Notts and Derby Bus Preservation Group but was later sold by them and became a mobile control office for a company training young drivers.

It was passing 434 (RNU 434X), an East Lancs bodied Leyland Atlantean AN68/1R new in March 1975.
