Priory Coaches D620 WPJ at College Heath Middle School, Mildenhall – 25 Sep 1989 (103-16)

Monday 25 September 1989 – Priory Coaches (Cowdrey) of Gosport, Hampshire D620 WPJ, a Kassböhrer Setra S215HD new in August 1986, was an unusual sighting at College Heath Middle School, Mildenhall.

The school had booked a package deal for a trip to France and this was the coach which appeared rather than one of a locally based operator. This coach remained with the party for the four day tour. The two adults in green sweaters are Mr. Brooks (the Deputy Head I think at the time) and Carol (whose surname evades me) who was possibly a member of the school administration team.

The house in the background is the rear aspect of a property in Field Road. The coach is standing in the morning sunshine where there is now a fenced footpath with an access to the playground area.
