Logan’s Coaches of Dunloy (YN06 RWF?) in Newmarket – 11 Oct 2006 (565-23A)

Logan’s Coaches of Dunloy (YN06 RWF?) in Newmarket – 11 Oct 2006 (565-23A)
Wednesday 11 October 2006 - This was an interesting sight caught at about 0730 hrs in Newmarket, England. A vehicle operated by Logans Coaches of Dunloy near Ballymena (Northern Ireland) carrying the livery of CIÉ Tours International of the Irish Republic.

CIÉ (Córas Iompair Éireann) is the national transport company of the Republic. The black paint beneath the windscreen gives a totally different look to the Plaxton Paragon front end. Chassis is Volvo B12M.

Despite being a Northern Ireland based company the registration plate is from Yorkshire as a result of Plaxton registering the vehicle locally to Scarborough. (Funny that British companies often use NI plates on their coaches to disguise the age but in this case it is the reverse). Although I can’t identify the exact vehicle Logan had six coaches delivered in May 2006 registered YN06 RWE/F/J/K/L – this may be RWE or RWF.
