Galloway 188 (1440 PP ex R558 UOT) at Bury St. Edmunds - 3 Sep 2008 (DSCN2413)

Wednesday 3 September 2008 (1207) - Galloway European Coachlines Limited of Mendlesham (near Ipswich) 188 (1440 PP), a UVG Compass (originally a Caetano design) bodied Dennis Dart new in March 1997 to Marchwood Motorways registered R558 UOT. It was parked in Bury St Edmunds bus station opposite the loading stands. At the time, particularly on Wednesdays and Saturdays which are market days in Bury, the bus station got very busy and the layover bays were constantly occupied. This resorted to some buses having to be parked in this position along the side wall as was Stagecoach (Cambus) 20321 (N321 VMS), an Alexander PS bodied Volvo B10M that had been new to Fife Scottish (321) in December 1995.
