Bu-Val Buses K243 PAG in Rochdale – 19 Aug 2003 (513-04A)

Tuesday 19 August 2003 – Bu-Val Buses (M Bull) K243 PAG, a Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Dart that had been new in November 1992 to London Buses (DR143), seen in Rochdale town centre having just left the bus station (which is on the left). That bus station was subsequently demolished and a new bus station built on the site of the tall stone building on the right (‘Electric House’ built for the Rochdale Corporation Electricity Department to house their appliance showroom and offices – opened in December 1930). The ‘Metrolink’ tram station now stands on the area between the two bus station sites.
