Friday 5 July 2019 (1142) – Big Green Bus Company LR52 BNN seen on Brookes Road, Cambridge at the Sainbury’s bus stop working the 1125 service 114 from Drummer Street bus station to Addenbrookes Hospital. Service 114 comprises four trips per day (not Sundays) using one bus on a frequency of every 75 minutes. LR52 BNN is a Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TL that had been new to Metroline (London) as their VP 335 in October 2002,

By the bus shelter is Stagecoach in Cambridge (Cambus) 44005 (BP16 UWT), a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter that had initially run on services in Ashford, Kent before moving to South Wales. It was working shuttle service 2B to Mill Road operating during the period of closure of Mill Road Bridge for railway maintenance. Service 2, which links Cambridge North railway station to the City Centre and Addenbrookes Hospital or Sainsbury’s, would normally travel via Mill Road and the Mill Road bridge. In order to serve the Mill Road communities either side of the closed bridge shuttle services were provided. Service 2B ran from Sainsbury’s into Mill Road on the east side of the bridge and service 2A ran from the City Centre to Mill Road on the west side of the bridge.
