Saturday 8 December 2018 (1222) – Stagecoach East (Cambus Limited) 19603 (AE10 BXR), an Alexander Dennis Enviro400 bodied Trident new in April 2010, seen under the Christmas decorations leaving Market Street, Ely bound for Cambridge on service 9. (We are looking from the back of the HO HO HO!)

The bars are a standard feature on the Enviro400 but they don't half look feeble compared with the homemade style on this bus:

Some of what would be considered the more well used roads in rural areas might still be narrower than average. They are often twisty too with tight bends. This results in larger vehicles often having to negotiate a left hand bend rather wide which can then bring the bus in contact with the overhanging branches on the right hand side of the road.
