DSCF3953 Yellow Buses 28 (T28 TYB) and Britannia Parking Services 20 (SN66 WJX) in Bournemouth - 31 Jul 2018

Tuesday 31 July 2018 (0837) – Britannia Parking Services 20 (SN66 WJX), an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 MMC new in September 2016, seen in Bath Road, Lansdowne, Bournemouth working a commuter service. I didn’t suss out just what the operation was but the buses seemed to run every ten minutes from the town centre in the morning peak (displaying ‘Chaseside’) and towards the town centre in the late afternoon/evening peak. The J P Morgan Chase Bank Corporate Centre is based at Chaseside so whether the private commuter service is a contract for them I don’t know. The buses seemed to be allowed to travel through Gervis Place in the town centre which was restricted to local buses, taxis and cycles. On the left is Yellow Buses (RATP Group) 28 (T28 TYB), an Optare Versa new in September 2008.
