Thursday 31 May 2018 (1711) – The skyline of Newcastle-upon-Tyne is visible beyond the arch of the Tyne Bridge seen from the upper deck of Go North East Wrightbus Streetdeck, 6333 (NK67 GOC) on the approach to Gateshead Metro Interchange (visible on the left). We were following Go North East 4960 (NL52 WVR), a Wright Solar bodied Scania L94UB new in October 2002 which carries the ‘Waggonway’ branding for services 28/28A between Chester-le-Street and Newcastle-upon-Tyne via an indirect route serving the Beamish Open Air Heritage Museum near Stanley.
