DSCF1378 R738 XRV at the Wellingborough Museum Bus Rally - 21 Apr 2018

Saturday 21 April 2018 (1208) – Wellingborough Museum Bus Rally: Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian R738 XRV was one of the open top buses that proved popular with families visiting the rally. It was new in April 1998 and wears the ‘Island Breezer’ livery of Southern Vectis, the Isle of Wight operator. (I think it was owned by Diamond Coaches of Rushden). Standing behind is former Eastern Counties Omnibus Company FLF453 (JAH 553D), an Eastern Coachworks bodied Bristol FLF6G new in July 1966.
