DSCF1032 Stagecoach (Go West) 18348 (AE55 DKV) and 47910 (YJ59 GGO) in King's Lynn - 22 Mar 2018

Thursday 22 March 2018 (1235) – Stagecoach in Norfolk (Go West Travel Limited) in King’s Lynn bus station. I am unsure of what was actually happening here. Optare Solo 47910 (YJ59 GGO) was seemingly working the 1238 service 1 to Fairstead when 18348 (AE55 DKV) also showing the service 1 destination display pulled up alongside, paused a moment and then departed. The service runs every 12 minutes so whether 18348 was a late running 1226 service I can’t say. 47910 was new as an Optare demonstrator in September 2009 and was subsequently acquired by Norfolk Green. It came into Stagecoach ownership when the Norfolk Green business was acquired. 18348 is an Alexander ALX400 bodied Dennis Trident that was new in November 2005 to operate out of the Cambridge garage of Stagecoach Cambus.
