Suffis Reizen FRY 240 at Poperinge Town Hall - 3 Sep 2004

Friday 3 September 2004 - Reizen Suffis is a tour and travel company based in the Belgian town of Poperinge. Jonckheere Mistral bodied Scania FRY 240 was engaged on a hire for a wedding party when seen outside Poperinge town hall. The coach carried a large white bow on the front. Almost everyone has boarded the coach and the bride and groom are about to do so by the front door. Hotel Amfora, where we stay on our visits, can be seen on the extreme right. The patio area (note the umbrellas) is amongst the most relaxing places I can think of to sit and watch the world go by – and the De Lijn buses which from time to time stop outside. In this shot two English coaches were, wrongly in my opinion, occupying the De Lijn bus bay whilst the passengers walked round the town and their drivers had lunch at Amfora. This resulted in the buses having to load on the adjacent roadway. (They also blocked my view from the patio!)
