DSCF9954 Mil-Ken Travel YX10 FFP (IIG 8309, UAF 780) in Mildenhall - 26 Sep 2017

Tuesday 26 September 2017 (1023) – Mil-Ken Travel YX10 FFP seen at Mildenhall Swimming Pool on a school to baths contract. It is a Plaxton Panther bodied Volvo B12B that had been new in June 2010 to the Bowen Group which went into administration in October 2010. It had operated with the York Brothers of Northampton subsidiary of the group. After sale it has operated with Firth Coaches, Greenock; Prentice Westwood, West Calder; and latterly with Sleafordian of Sleaford, Lincolnshire. Along the way it has carried registration numbers IIG 8309 and UAF 780 – no doubt it will see a re-registration again if it is staying with Mil-Ken. (P.S. Maybe it later became JAZ 6487)
