DSCF8776 Former Southern Vectis DDL 50 at the Isle of Wight Bus and Coach Museum - 6 July 2017
Thursday 6 July 2017 (1318) – An exhibit at the Isle of Wight Bus and Coach Museum in Ryde.

DDL 50 is an Eastern Coachworks bodied Bristol K5G new to Southern Vectis in 1939 as a conventional covered top bus. It became an open topper in later years used on the route linking three of the island’s holiday resorts, Sandown to Ventnor via Shanklin. After retirement from carrying passengers it was used for tree lopping work. The upper deck seats are slatted wood.
