DSCF7526 Stagecoach East 15465 (AE09 GYP) in Ely - 5 Jun 2017

Monday 5 June 2017 (1147) – Stagecoach East 15465 (AE09 GYP), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400 bodied Scania N230UD new in March 2009, seen in Lynn Road, Ely. It was new in March 2009 and had been one of the buses employed on the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway which opened on Sunday 7 August 2011. The front display looks more like a date than a destination. It reminds me of a conundrum posed to me when I was young which went ‘There were twins born in March but their birthdays were in April……’ - it took some thought before the penny dropped!
