Eastern Counties VR196 (TEX 406R) in Barton Mills - 12 Aug 1995 (280-06)

Saturday 12 August 1995 – Saturday morning outside the Post Office and Village Shop in Barton Mills village we see an Eastern Counties bus picking up passengers for Bury St. Edmunds. Two local residents (Mrs Hart and Mrs Ponsford) are looking up The Street where something is happening as a car attempts to pass a horse being ridden towards the Church. The bus was VR196 (TEX 406R), an Eastern Coachworks bodied Bristol VR new in June 1977.
