Cambridge Coach Services D848 KVE at Waterbeach - 1 Jul 1990

Sunday 1 July 1990 - A number of Van Hool Alizee bodied Volvo B10M coaches were transferred from Premier Travel to Cambridge Coach Services at its formation. 348 (D848 KVE) seen at Waterbeach before going out to work the 1545 hrs service 78 from Cambridge to Gatwick. Premier bought nine such vehicles in 1987 which carried fleet numbers 342-351. Whilst 342-345 and 349-352 carried matching D-KVE plates, 346-351 were registered D846-851 KVE. The company telephone number had not yet been applied on the rear panel of this coach.
