Saturday 14 June 2008 (1329) - At Kriens (Busschleife) near Luzern. Heggli A.G. of Kriens 702 (LU 15790) Mercedes-Benz Citaro (new 2005), in the livery of Verkehrsbetriebe der Stadt Luzern (VBL). Heggli works VBL services 15, 16, 21, 27 and 31 under contract. The bus had arrived at 1328 as the 1306 service 16 from Spitz and Horw.

A PTT Postbus liveried bus was passing by on what I think was the 1305 service 71 from Eigenthal and Hergiswald to Luzern Bahnhof (due passed Kriens at 1325). Contractor is possibly Bucheli Busbetriebe AG of Kriens.

The trolleybus wires power the vehicles on VBL service 1, a high frequency service to the city centre and beyond, on which double-articulated trolleybuses and two axle rigid trolleybuses towing trailers operate every 5/6 minutes on weekdays.
