Thetford's new bus station - photo 4

The new bus station opened in the Norfolk town of Thetford on Sunday 1 March 2015.

Buses and coaches will have first travelled down St Nicholas Street and taken a right hand bend into Minstergate (shown here). They will travel to the top of the street turning right into the bus station beyond the car and blue sign in the distance. Norwich Road passes across the top of the photograph but is not accessible from Minstergate. The industrial building on the left was the original paint shop of Charles Burrell and Sons - the company built traction engines, agricultural machinery, steam trucks wagons and tram engines - and now houses the Burrell Museum. www.museumsnorfolk.org.uk/charles-burrell-museum
