Oh wow, that is a creepy sight! It's creepy because the depth of field is so shallow, it feels as if I am terribly close. Too close! I would like to back up quite a bit to a safer range. Of course, I don't know if this is a spitting cobra which would mean I would want to back up even further! This is not to say that I am afraid of snakes, because I am not! In fact I love them very much and have one of my own...I have a California mountain Kingsnake, which I found on our property and saved from dying because it was too small to survive the winter. Snakey McSnakerton is now about eight years old and has grown from about 10" to 4 feet long and we love him very much! All of this being said, I have a lot of respect for any wild creature and if they are venomous I am just that much more respectful of them. Nice job with this picture!

Les tengo mucho respecto a las víboras por su veneno. Tres de mis perros hube de correr para salvarlos, después de mordidos. A las cobras les tendría aún más. La de la foto parece que está peligrosamente cerca, quizá por desenfoque. Hay animales que mejor tenerlos lejos
