Guess the Location

Guess the Location
I saw this photo of Hendrix spacers being used for what looks like possible 12.47 kV distribution. Anybody care to guess where this line may be?

These lines are actually in Antarctica! This photo was taken at McMurdo Station on Ross Island.

I knew it had to be somewhere with winter weather more extreme than the Dakotas with those huge snow tires.

My guess as to Canada was in reference to the far north portions where 'winter roads' are the rule (i.e. the King of Obsolete's backyard).

I wouldn’t want to be a linesman working on this circuit.

That's insane! Did you know it averages in the single digits during the warmest part of the year? During the coldest parts of the year, scientists and researchers have to hunker down for over 6 months before the next batch of planes can safely come back because it gets so cold. I heard it's as isolated as being in the international space station!
