The Celtic Head in our Virginia Creeper...

The Celtic Head in our Virginia Creeper...
Period: Iron Age (800 BC - 500 AD)
Probability 90%
Period Notes Date uncertain; appears to be Iron Age but could be medieval.
The archaeology report on it: Possible Celtic head, stone-carved. Presently, it is projecting from one of the walls of a farm building built in 1850. The stone is eroded, and not all of the facial features are clearly defined. The almond shaped eyes are quite distinct, but the chin and nose have suffered damage and the mouth is poorly defined; an attempt has been made to add pupils to the eyes, very crudely, and there is a possible ear on the head's right side, very unusual in Celtic art.
