Easier to start with than stars...
F16 with long lens, preferably 500mm + and at a speed of the reciprocal of the film speed set (ISO) , or less, with tripod. These were taken at F16 with a 420mm lens, with an ISO set of 1600, and shutter speed of 1/1500. You need to experiment with the speed to see what will provide detail, rather than just a white circle of light...
