TSC#526 - Incorporated White Paper (11"X8.5") as a prop in your photograph.
Little polar bear amongst the ice and snow ( a crumpled piece of white paper).
*** The polar bears are facing a difficult future with the ice they desperately need to hunt for their main food source is rapidly melting.

Has Had A Long Life
Vintage grain basket for TSC #524 Wabi Sabi
Now while Wabi Sabi is difficult to explain the following link does give the back ground and a good understanding of how/why it plays such a pivotal part in the lives of the Japanese.
japanobjects.com/features/wabi-sabi
I decided to use the old grain basket since it is a simple piece that had a long life with those who collected the gains in the fields. Even now it can put to used if one would want to re purpose it. Although it is now scratched, weather worn and faded, the metal stapes broken, bent or missing, the charm of this simple item still remains.

WALKING STICKS (letter A)
Part of our walking stick collection for TSC #523 forming the letter "A".
The black one was made in Shillelagh, Ireland and is a traditional Irish fighting stick or cudgel called a Shillelagh.
The one lightest one is a walking stick carved from a sturdy dried root. It was made for a Charlie's cousin as the knot at the top resembled "Molly" her dog.
The brown one at the top looks a lot like a joint of a bone.
When we began this collection, little did I know that I would be using one lately as a result of spin & back issues.

TAGGING ALONG INTO 2022
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2022
While it is often said: "Out With The Old And In With The New", the old 2020 -2021 safety directives of wearing a MASK, washing our hands, social distancing, getting vaccinated along with a booster and avoiding large crowds appears to be part of the old that is tagging along with us into the New Year!
May good health & happiness come your way.

Happy Boxing Day - Stay Cautious Regarding Covid19 And Omicron
I grew up being told that boxing day was for taking simple Christmas gift boxes to friends and others you couldn't be with on Christmas Day. Also that well to do families presented gifts to their staff and their children on Boxing Day in thanks for their service throughout the year. Some Churches presented boxes of items to the poor according to some friends.
