who is Diana Schanzenbach ?
Christina Sonnensche… club has replied to My Awake Gottica (m.…"I'm Romania German, live and work as a (travel) journalist in Cologne.
I went after 16 years in 2006 for the first time back to Romania - although all asked:
holiday in Romania? Are you crazy???
Since then I am infected by the virus of Romania and, put back in a three-month research trip, many thousand kilometres in this unknown land - via train, bus, plane, car, taxi, alone and in the company. I have lived in crumbling buildings and sumptuous hotels. And was intrigued. The hard contrasts between post-socialist wounds and glory. The stimulating atmosphere of a country in transition."
She wrote a guidebook: RUMÄNIEN, which was very helpful and interesting for our journey.
My Awake Gottica (m.… has replied to Christina Sonnensche… clubNice from Diana's part .... but this is where I wanted to get - if I remember well, she presents Romania mostly from Transilvania perspective ....is sooo sad that you didn't have a Complete guide .... moreover, Romania includes Moldova and also parts of Ucraine .... :(
... well ..... NOW you Have Me :) whenever you want :)
Christina Sonnensche… club has replied to My Awake Gottica (m.…This is, how we'll do it.
And we'll start this special guiding tour in Bucegi Natural Park. :)
Diana's guidebook includes all the parts of Romania, but of course not every beautiful place.
If it would be so, I'm sure, the book would be so big, that I'd have no chance to take it with me. :)
