The End of the Tulip flower time... (1)

The End of the Tulip flower time... (1)
When the tulips are full in bloom, they will loss there flowers by 'kop'machines.
After ‘kopping’ the flowers, the leaves will die and the bulbs will grow and grow... And after that, the bulbs will be harvested and stored in the cooling for a few months.
Then they are replanted in October-November on another place!
So they have to do this for three years and then are the bulbs ready for export!

Oh wie schade, da werden die schönen Blumen geköpft!

Aber es muss eben so gemacht werden, wie ich in Deiner Beschreibung lesen konnte!
Habe wieder etwas Neues gelernt!

And indeed, the flowers have to be 'kopping' when they are full in bloom... Because it's a must for growing of the bulbs...

They are all blooming for growing from the bulb Christiane.. They are ‘kopping’ when the blooming is on top!
After three years is the bulb well done and good for export!
Thank you for your compliment.
