I agree with others about the interesting effect of the layering, via the window-panes, and the unusual light, but all the photographs feel a bit sad. The birds look isolated in a "tatty" environment. It's a strange series.

You are right Steve in that all of the photographs look sad. I do think however that I've made the conditions look worse with the reflections!
