ok this is random and weird? to me it looks like a funky place to put a sculpture.

It is Wendi.....it used to be green and had water streaming down it!

The River God Tyne, not looking bright and shiny as I remember it from the 70s. The money spent on the Civic Centre will always be associated in my mind with the corruption of T.Dan Smith.

Yes we were talking about T.Dan Smith and his cronies while wandering around there and how Newcastle will struggle forever to pay off the debt they caused......and the creation of a hideous landscape in place of magnificent old buildings. The City is gradually getting its dignity back!!!

Amazing, strange and somehow touching. The very first thought I had was of the World Trade Center, 9/11, kind of like a memorial. Ah, well, it's a wonderful shot!
