Bäume, die über dem Weg liegen kenne ich auch.
Ich war erstaunt, dass die Forstarbeiter so den Weg frei gemacht haben.

Das habe ich mir auch schon überlegt. Ich hoffe und denke, dass er liegenbleibt oder aufgehalten wird ganz herunter zu rutschen.

It could well be that it is still held by roots.
Some fallen trees have lined this path.
They will probably be fetched in pieces from the forest - which will certainly not be an easy task on this narrow path.
