Ja, so sind sie, die Kopfweiden. Sie werden jährlich einmal geköpft und über die Jahre von allerlei Unbill ausgehöhlt, stehen aber weiter standhaft ihren Mann/Frau am Bach.
Ein sehr eindrucksvolles Foto, das mir sehr gut gefällt!

Hallo, danke herzlich für das Interesse und den aufschlußreichen Kommentar, Frank-Michael.
Diesen Baum, bzw. das was davon übrig geblieben ist, habe ich in den darauf folgenden
Jahren jeweils im Frühjahr noch mal aufgenommen.
Er hat viel Substanz verloren, ich bin aber fast sicher, dass er wieder ausgetrieben hat.

Ein Grund bald noch mal eine Radtour dorthin zu machen...

Das finde ich auch, diese Weiden sind beinahe unverwüstlich.
In einem Naturschutzgebiet in unserer Nähe habe ich alte Kopfweiden entdeckt.
Habe Bilder von ihnen gemacht; werde gleich mal eins einstellen.
