favourite vegetables
I bought an Armenian cucumber seedling at the Foster Farmers Market a few years ago and discovered they are my favourite cucumber - no bitterness or acidity at all, with a very thin skin and... just wonderful. Was not able to get more seedlings, and my seeds did not well last year. This year they did really well in the new glass house, and enough seedlings took in the garden and have taken off. Next to them is a Black Russian tomato, our favourite tomato. From ripen to rotten is about a day, so you have to grow them yourself, but they are sooooo good! Oh, and a couple of Tommy Toe tomatoes as well.
