The most unpleasant part is over. Txierri and Viviande are dead. We know we can trust Agan to take his time to kill the livestock calmly and accurately, so there is no suffering. Even after he shot Txierri, Viviande showed no signs of distress. She walked around Txierri grunting softly to her ("why are you lying down?" we presume) and was quite calm when Agan walked over to her to shoot her.
